Hi: Got the light and it is an excellent system. However
by sending it UPS and not USPS they charged me a
brokerage fee of $17.10 plus tax. I import lead soldiers
from the US and UK all the time and use regular mail
service for exactly this reason. UPS always charges a
ridiculous rate for handling the parcel and makes it cost
almost double. I paid you US$33.02 for the product and
paid those idiots CDN $21.51! Just wanted to let you know.
Re: Rick, I credited the $17.10 handling fee to you. I was
going by what UPS told me. I will set up with the USPS on
the next order and get it correct.

the pens, or any warranty information. Shouldn't there be a

I'm thoroughly enjoying ordering from your website. Products are easy to find an pricing is very competitive. However, I do have one complaint. I just received my second order from your company. One item ordered and rec. was a sharpening strop. As a beginning carver, I was hopeful that the product would be shipped with instructions. None arrive. Can you provide some assistance?
Richard, sorry for the goof. Scratch off some compound or crush some up and put on the fabric side of the strop. Strop each side of the item in need of sharpening about eight times. Then go tho the leather side and using no compound and strop three to four times each side and you are done. Hold the tools the same angel as the bevel, do not lift up or you will create a second bevel and the tool will feel sharp but will not cut well. I will mail the instructions tomorrow.

I have just purchased a Colwood Detailer Woodburner with four replaceable tips and a tip handle from your company. I had been interested in getting a dedicated woodburning kit set for some time and your prices were competible with all the other sellers of the same equipment.
I had been woodburning for a few years making custom cabinet doors and large complex burnings on plaques made from bias cuts from large hard and softwood stumps found in the woods. My woodburners were two old soldering irons with extra tips home made from threaded brass rod ground to the shape I needed. Some of the large and complex burnings took more than 40 hours to complete due to the tip temperatures. They were too hot for cedar and pine and too cold for most hardwoods.
I have just finished four projects using the new woodburner and I found it a joy to work with. Being able to regulate the tip temperature made my completion time cut by 75%. No more slow crawl doing long straight lines. And the slimline tip handle makes manuveralibility easy.
I have over 80 plaques all ready to add woodburnings too and am looking forward to doing them this winter with this new equipment.

I received the Flexcut Tri-Jack Pro that I ordered, I was amazed at the fast shipping. Thank you.
But the problem. This knife has three blades, all locking (according to the literature). Unfortunately, the largest blade's lock does not work. This makes this blade totally unusable. I can see that this is a great knife and I want to have it, but I need all three blades and I need them to be locked when engaged. I have too many cuts and slices from non-locking blades. What can I do? Ship it back? Can you help?
I have an email in to Flexcut regarding the problem, but my experience is that companies often do not answer emails promplly. Hopefully you and Flexcut are exceptions. I know this is a holiday weekend, so I may just have to be patient for a few days.
