The permanent-magnet TX features the latest in flex shaft technology and delivers more torque throughout the entire speed range than any other flex shaft motor. It is rated at 1/3 hp and achieves a top speed of 15,000rpm. The motor comes supplied with Foredom's standard shaft and sheath.

* SXR Control - is cast iron, painted with a gray powdercoat, and the extra weight provides greater stability. This control has special electronics and is for exclusive use with the TX motor. *

No. 44T Handpiece. This collet style handpiece is popular among woodcarvers since it accomodates larger accessories with shank diameters up to 1/4". It comes with 3/32", 1/8" and 1/4" collets. The tapered design allows for close and safe work. The No. 44T is a member of the Foredom system of interchangeable handpieces.
